This Chevy diesel came into the shop with a starting problem. It would start fine cold but if you let it warm up, shut it off, and let it sit for an hour and a half and then start it again it would start for about ten seconds and then die. We thought it was getting air into the fuel system somewhere so we put a clear fuel line on the return line out of the injector pump. Sure enough when it would start and die a large stream of air bubbles would come out of the injector pump. We thought it might be the fuel filter housing so i pulled it off and checked the o rings on it. Sure enough one o ring was flattened and another was bad and someone had tried to repair it with silicon. We got new o rings for it and put it back together and i worked great with no problems. I also replaced the bearings, seals, and brakes on one side of the rear axle of Don's service truck.
