This week I started tearing down a cylinder head on out Cat 3516. I took it apart and am in the process of taking all of the measurements that you would do if you were to actually repair it back to running condition. I have also diagnosed two hydraulic leaks at work on an Alamo mower.  It just turned out to be two cracked lines so it was a simple fix. I learned how to take the required measurements on the 3516.  I also relearned how to use a micrometer.

This week I took apart and a front hub on a 3038 compact tractor.  It came in that the hub was leaking oil and when I pulled the tractor in I noticed that the top seal was leaking. I blew it apart and sure enough the seal had fused with the casting causing a leak. I replaced and reassembeled the hub. I also learned how to rebuild a perma clutch in a 4020 tractor and plan to install it today.  I also got a refresher and relearned how to wire up elcectical circuits on the final test.
