At work I have been told to figure out why a PTO will not work properley on a 4240. I started by checking the hydraulic oil and I found that it was black and reaked of burned clutch material. So I decided I needed to split the tractor to check out the PTO clutch and the evidence is in the picture above. It was fried.

This week I have been working through the electrical test boards and have completed all that have been set up. I also completed the twenty five question online pre test that was asigned to us. At work I have rebuilt a hydraulic cylinder. I have also split two tractors for a clutch replacement and to rapair a transmition. I also tracked down why four work lights on a tractor had quit working.
