This week we were working on an 1984 Ford fuel truck. We fixed three fuel leeks, tightened the pto shaft in two spots, put the drivers side window back into the runner so it would go up and down, replaced the tail lights (not just the bulbs but the entire assemblies), fixed two wiring issues on it and did a rear diff service. The picture is showing the passenger side fuel tank draining so we can fix the leak in it.

Replacing transfer case cover on a GMC 2500 Duramax
We had to replace a transfer case cover on a GMC 2500 Duramax. The old one had a hole worn through it. It was fairly simple and strait forward and we didn't have any complications.

Seals, bearings, and brakes on a 95 F250 diesel
This pickup came in with the customer wanting the transmission overhauled. When the transmission was being installed we noticed that one of the seals in the rear end had gone out so we got permission from the customer to begin overhauling the rear end. When I drained the rear differential the gear oil had the same look and consistency as peanut butter from water contamination. We ended up replacing all the seals, bearings, gear oil, break shoes, and the brake cylinders. I also reassembled my first brake drum.

Head gaskets and lifters on a 6.9L international diesel.
I replaced the head gaskets and lifters on a 6.9L international diesel engine. When removing the passenger side head it makes life much easier if you remove the heater core housing first. As you can see by the picture you do not have to do this but if you do make sure that you put the heater core housing back on before you put the valve cover back on the head. I have 25 hours this week with a total of 25.
